The Sydney Opera House is undoubtedly the landmark for Sydney. Its exquisite and fascinating architecture, with its complicated simplicity, so exposed and open on all fronts, reveals a different angle from all the places you can get to see it.

I didn’t take the time to visit its interiors, but from the outside I sure explored several different vantage points, and different times of the day, sunrise being probably one of the best. Actually, there isn’t really a “best time”. The Sydney Opera House looks great always, so just make sure to be there and to take your camera with you. But most importantly, enjoy it with your eyes.

Although so impressive, it is very humble and accessible, with large open spaces in front and walkways all around the structure, welcoming tourists, photographers, wedding parties and everyone else. I saw people training on its stairs and around it very early in the morning.
