A friend’s wedding brought me to Santander, precious capital of the region of Cantabria, in the north of Spain.
Santander - Casa Constitorial
As i had never visited the city, the day after ceremony and reception, a friend of mine offered to come and guide me through the city before catching the bus that would bring us to Madrid.
Santander - Playa del Sardinero
As I said, the city is precious, greatly enhanced by the presence of the sea, where the weekend crowds playing or sunbathing on the gorgeous Playa del Sardinero makes you want to stay and never leave.
Santander - Cathedral
There was obviously much more to see, but with limited time and legs depleted by my previous efforts (and the party night) I am happy with what I got :-)
