There is no doubt in my mind that Death Valley Park, in California, is a must-see destination for basically everybody. Whether you are into hiking, biking, or just driving around to put another pin on your facebook map, Death Valley Park is your destination.
The park is huge, so you can plan and pace your visit according to how much time you have. I had planned one single day. My handicap was having the motel 2hrs away from the Park, but with an early wake, and the winter late sunrise, I got inside early enough to be able to enjoy all of the sun light available.
This allowed me to visit many of the high interest points, including Badwater Basin, Mesquite Dunes, Zabriskie Point, Devil’s Golf Course, and the breathtaking Dantes View. By the time I was done, sun was already hidden by the surrounding mountains.
With so much more to see, I am longing for my next visit. Hope you will enjoy these pictures.
