As part of a recent business trip to Milan, I had the chance for visiting the main landmark in Milan, Piazza del Duomo. Although cold in January, it was a very sunny day, which made the visit even more enjoyable.
The main attraction is the gothic cathedral, il Duomo, which is open to the public.
You can also climb upstairs to the terrazze from which you can both appreciate the intricate details of structure and decorations and a great view of the surroundings, including the piazza and on the horizon, the southern front of the Alps. Amazing.
More pictures after the break.
