Traditional definition might actually blur me off a bit, but I surely liked the results of closing up this much with my 50mm equipped with an additional 0.25x “magnifier”. Not exactly the results of a fish-eye, but interesting nonetheless.
I find macro photography’s charm to reside in the exploratory nature of it. Macro photos reveal what we usually don’t or can’t see and notice.
I find these to be extremely beautiful (although I am not a big fan of insects, but that’s my thing :-) Some are actually taken from Wired.
It is definitely a space to – pardon my pun – focus on, and I think I’ll explore a little more, as well as droplets macro photography, a good tutorial of which can be found here.
