I hadn’t been to the Palo Alto Baylands in a very long time now. Going back was like meeting with a friend you haven’t seen for some time; it all looks familiar, you start sharing memories, call out what’s new, what’s old, what’s different.
I went shortly after midday, so the sun was high, warm enough to get around in this season’s cold weather. A pleasant walk, right along the landing strip. If you are into birdwatching, this is a great place to come, but that day, was particularly interesting because of the clouds, which offered an amazing show.
I have already talked about how beautifully vast the sky is here at the Palo Alto Baylands, but don’t take my word for it, and go explore by yourself: you’ll be amazed.
