This last Saturday/Sunday was the 33rd Annual San Francisco Carnaval. I had seen pictures of this festival, but never really knew the date it is held; it was a pleasant surprise to see it overlapping with the Memorial Day long weekend, as it gave me the opportunity to attend.
As in many of these events, streets were crowded, food was plenty, day was splendid and music was live. There was also a salsa stage with a competition going on.
This time again, I was late, and missed out the Parade, yet got a few shots, and a friend allowing me to picture her face paint.
