I recently upgraded my glorious Nikon D50 to a blasting Nikon D600: took me only about seven years to finally jump…
As with any change, reading the manual is not enough, and so I took some time to actually go around and start getting familiar with body and various commands and buttons. In such a simple walkabout, reality is that not many functions are really exploited, but still, you want to get a feel for it, and get to know the new gear.
There will be changes needed to accommodate for lots of little things, but there’s huge rewards in exchange for them.
Just like in life, isn’t it?
