On Saturday I went to the de Young museum in San Francisco with two dear friends of mine. Besides climbing up to the observatory deck (which is free), we visited the expositions, and found some quite interesting things. I thought to share some pictures I took that day.
Lines and shades
These items – which I inappropriately name ‘wire art’ – were hanging on display by the elevator that brings up to the Tower Observation Deck. At first, I tried to go close-up. Then I figured, I needed to look at the big picture :-)
Although the title of this was not it, they explained to us that the little mixed pieces actually came from the 9/11 crash site. At a close look you’ll see pieces like ICs, screws, bolts… It’s frightening in it’s chaotic look, and it’s actual content.
Extremely nice pieces, with all of those reflections the final result looks almost like a rendered image.
I am not giving up what this is: I am sure you’ll find it on your visit :-)
Just a bench.
