Sicilian summer break

Few weeks ago I was on a very short trip to my home land, in Sicily. I had a wedding to attend to, but obviously it was also a good time to see family and friends.

All rushed, I even managed to visit the “Villa Romana del Casale“, which – believe it or not – was my first time ever. I cannot say the level of service matched any expectations, but the mosaics themselves made me ask the expert (my brother) few times how much such enourmous decoration effort might cost.

I was going through the pictures I took during this time, and I have some that I wish to share, because I think they are somehow highlights of my land, my culture and the trip itself: so here they come, hope you like them.
